It’s Been Ten Years

…but I’ve only been a part of the excitement for four of those.east10th-bryce

Hi! My name is Chris Beaman, and I have the pleasure of working with the East Tenth staff and board to coordinate the 2015 annual dinner and silent auction.

In November 2012, I first attended the dinner as a staff member working with the school-age programevent2 as the Kindergarten through First Grade counselor.  It was a great experience to see approximately 200 people from the Indianapolis community and surrounding communities come together to support such a worthy organization.

I remember feeling so appreciative of the donors at the event for helping to make my young friends’ dreams come true.2014-event-speaker1

Since then, because I was so inspired, I have attended the dinner in 2013 and helped to organize the one last year, in 2014.

The inaugural event in 2006 brought in $3,971 for the center, and since 2006, the organization has raised $146,164.00 combined from all of the annual dinners. To commemorate this milestone–our 10th annual dinner–wouldn’t it be nice to raise 10x the amount raised the first time we gathered our friends for this event? $39,710 has the potential to make a world of difference for the children and families we serve.2014-event-roundtable

This year, the 10th annual dinner’s theme is based on of the popular Dr. Seuss children’s book, Oh, The Places You’ll Go!, and I am truly excited for you, as a friend of East Tenth, to hear about the progress that has been made over the past year as well as plans for the 2016 year. Oh, the places we are going!

I hope you’ll consider supporting this critical event for East Tenth in at least one of many ways:event3

Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you if you have any questions about getting involved. Please reach out to me at chris.beaman@east10th.org.2014-event1-banner
