The IAEYC conference this year was the very first I have ever been to, and it was a blast! I was able to attend sessions that helped me better understand not only the children I work with, but more about my own personal early childhood philosophy as well. Lisa Murphy was the highlight of the conference to me, helping me to identify and work toward addressing my own strengths and weaknesses, as well as going in depth with early childhood theorists whose contributions will have an even greater impact on me than before. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have learned from some of the most passionate individuals I have ever encountered.
