Last week, our preschool students worked on their early literacy skills and sat down to write some letters to Santa. They then headed downtown to the circle to drop them off in Santa’s Mailbox. The students then stopped in at South Bend Chocolate for some hot cocoa. So delicious!
As luck would have it, this Monday, there was a fat stack of letters waiting in our mailbox here at East Tenth United Methodist Children and Youth Center! Santa had taken time out of his busy schedule to write back these awesome kids. Everyone had a letter and the teachers helped each student read theirs with great excitement. Rumor has it, Santa may be stopping by today… we’ll have to see.
